Officine Panerai announces the opening of new stores worldwide.

Following the opening of the Panerai Boutiques in Florence, Portofino, Hong Kong and Shanghai and the complete renovation of the Boutique in Los Angeles, between 2008 and 2009 the leading Italian company in the fine watch making sector will see the inauguration of the Boutiques in Beijing, Tokyo, New York, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Qatar and Dubai.

The growing interest from the major global markets and the widespread international recognition achieved have spurred Officine Panerai to further spread its presence in a number of countries. The rapid growth in the worldwide renown of the Panerai brand supported the decision to develop, alongside the network of dealers, a series of exclusive Boutiques in the most prestigious locations in major cities.

Each Boutique represents a true extension of the parent company and offers the entire collection of the brand, with particular attention to the models of exclusive Panerai manufacture.

Panerai watches, the history of which began in Florence over a century and a half ago, are the result of unceasing research which has perfected their exceptional technical qualities that are combined with a design of captivating elegance.

Enthusiasts all around the globe, from the Asian continent to the United States, from South America to the United Arab Emirates, have transformed Panerai models into objects with cult status and groups of collectors have independently created websites and forums dedicated to this Italian brand.

The furnishings in the Panerai Boutiques are inspired by the sea, the element which has always accompanied Panerai’s history. They were carefully designed by an Italian architecture studio and confer on the showrooms a distinctive style which makes them recognisable anywhere. Teak and steel are the predominant materials of choice.
Sinuous shop windows that take on the shape of ocean waves, furnishing details that echo diving suits and divers’ equipment, and porthole-shaped display panels recalling yacht fittings all come together in harmony to create an ambient with a clean, linear nautical style.
